Ultimate Salesforce Chrome Extensions 2017

This list of Salesforce chrome extensions is coming from Salesforce Ben’s awesome post here. I have added comments of my own under some extensions. And I have added multilogin app into the list. Although it can’t be quite categorised as an extension, I find it very useful to be viewed as an extension to browsers.

So here comes the list:

Login Tools

Salesforce ORGanizer   ★★★★★ (32)   Users: 1000+

The ORGanizer Chrome Extension allows you to easily manage multiple Salesforce Logins by adding your frequently used accounts to the app. The app has a number of methods to make it very quick to login, while also providing a few added bonuses.

Quick Login As   ★★★★½ (25)   Users: 6000+

Quick Login As allows you to easily login as any other user in your Org, by providing you with a quick view page that you can popup anywhere on Salesforce. Perfect for Admins or Consultants that need to test or debug from the perspective of another user.

[Lance’s comment] The issue with almost every Salesforce login extension is, it doesn’t create a new session for each org. As for chrome, you can login with two orgs – normal session and incognito simultaneously, and that’s it. Usually that’s not enough for a Salesforce consultant who is responsible for multiple orgs. As for me, I wouldn’t say that’s not useful. It is. But only to some extend. Personally, I still prefer to use multilogin with a password management app like Last Pass or Keepass.

Force.com Logins  ★★★★ (190)   Users: 30,000+

This extension manages your salesforce.com login information and lets you quickly login. There is a number of added productivity tools available to make switching between multiple Orgs seamless.

Salesforce Logins   ★★★★★ (52)   Users: 3,500+

New powerful Salesforce login management extension for Force.com users. It allows you to login using security token without verification code. It stores your credentials on your Google account app storage

and synchronizes it between your devices.

Last Pass ★★★★½   (20,000+)   Users: 5.7M+

LastPass is a staple password manager used around the world. It’s very powerful and allows you to manage all your accounts/passwords, Salesforce or not. Great app but does not have specific Salesforce productivity tools.

Multilogin ★★★★★

Multilogin enables you to open different orgs in different sessions, which means you can open multiple orgs simultaneously in chrome – no longer limited to 2. Salesforce developers may soon realise how good it is.

Salesforce Colored Favicons   ★★★★★ (30)   Users: 5,000+

A simple extension that allows you to change the default Salesforce favicon per server instance. E.g. CS1 = Green NA15 = Red. There is also a setting to ensure Sandboxes stand out.

[Lance’s comment] I have tried this one and pretty love it. The issue with it is under the same instance, e.g. both servers and under CS4. Then they will be of the same color. Other than that, pretty handy one.

Column Copy   ★★★½ (88)   Users: 18,000+

A powerful extension that allows you to copy HTML tables out from Salesforce (Or anywhere on the web), into a format of your choice such as Excel. Very useful to quickly copy out picklist values, field metadata, and report data.
